Meredith's class Christmas party was today. Everyone had a lot of fun and they even got a visit from Santa.

JA Cookie Swap

It is hard to believe it is almost time for Christmas! For the past two years we have kicked off the Christmas season with Meredith's annual JA Cookie Swap. This year was no different. She loves this because they get to make crafts, decorate cookies, write a letter to Santa, and get a personal visit from Santa. Each girl gets to sit on Santa's lap and tell him what they want for Christmas. This year instead of cookies I decided to make Christmas tree brownies. They turned out really cute. Once it was time to leave each girl got their annual Christmas CD with some rockin' Christmas tunes on it. We love this tradition and it a great mother & daughter activity to do together. :)

2009 JA Carnival

This is the third year we have attended JA's Fall Carnival. Meredith has a great time dressing up and getting to play all the carnival games with her friends. Each year we meet up with Meredith's friend Mia Kate and they have a blast running from game to game and playing together.
